Rakhi brings festivity in market, sales jump

The much awaited Raksha Bandhan day comes bringing with it joy for sisters who pour affection on brothers by tying the sacred thread Rakhi on the latter’s wrists in exchange of promise of protection and gifts in cash and kind. The gifts vary in kind such as fancy goods, clothes, jewellery, automobiles.
On one hand, celebration of Raksha Bandhan is symbol of traditional bond of affection between brothers and sisters, it is no less a significant occasion for those who find a business potential, on the other hand. Business class start decorating their shops almost a month before the festive season which is kicked off with Raksha Bandhan followed by Janmasthmai, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri and Deepawali.
Sweet makers have a high time during this festive season which offers them a big market for the endless varieties of sweets they prepare for the customers who ceaselessly throng their shops. Hundreds of shops selling Rakhis can be seen in the capital city. Some shops are so popular for the variety rakhis, that the earning for the season is between Rs. 50 000 to Rs 1 lakh.
Golbazar, Malviya Road, Motibagh, Choube Colony, Pandri Market, Devendra Nagar, Purani Basti are few areas which were flooded with rakhis of attractive colours and designs. However, rakhis are not made in Raipur, traders order for them from Kolkata, Mumbai, Agra, Rajkot and Ahemdabad, Rakhi traders while speaking to Central Chronicle on process of procurement.

“I have been selling imitation and silver rakhis since 1995” says Anand Rathor, owner of B K Jewellers, Malviya Road. “ Although I bring rakhis from Rajkot, Kolkata and Agra, many times I sell Gold rakhis in case of order from customers” he says. Generally orders for gold rakhis come from rich, he said added that rakhis made of gold or silver are ordered by sisters who meet their brothers first time after their marriage. If you have sufficient money you can celebrate the festival in the way you like, and I have rakhis priced right from Rs 25 to Rs. 2000, said the 45-year-old businessman.

“It has been a roaring business these days ever since I started on August 10 opening my agency,” said Rajesh Kesharwani who opens his shop at 9 a.m. to keep meeting the orders till 11 p.m. “I have about 2000 varieties of rakhis in stock, whose prices range from Rs 20 to Rs 500. The demand of customers is on the rise day by day. I believe this rakhi business has given me a nice business compared to that of last year,” says 40-year-old Kesharwani. He said though he had rakhis of innumerable varieties and brand, public demand was still greater, as inquiries about something new, something different are always there. However, stone rakhi, within the price range of Rs. 50 and 100, is the most popular among the people of all classes, he said.

Lord Jagannath devortees spered all over the World

Ratha Yatra is a huge Hindu festival associated with Lord Jagannath held at Puri in the state of Odisha, India during the months of June/July. Most of the city's society is based around the worship of Jagannath (Krishna) with the ancient temple being the fulcrum of the area.

Nowadays it has become universal. The Ratha Yatra festival has become a common sight in most major cities of the world since 1968 through the ISKCON Hare Krishna movement. Its leader A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada successfully transplanted the festival which now happens on an annual basis in places all over the world in over 100 cities including Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, London, Budapest, Melbourne, Montreal, Paris, New York, Singapore, Toronto, Antwerp, Kuala Lumpur and Venice, CA. The RathaYatra in Dhamrai, Bangladesh is one of the most important in Bangladesh.I am telling about the traditional rath yatra which originated in Puri the holy abode of Lord Jagannath.

'Rathetu Bamanah drutah
Punah janma naividyate'
It means that the devotee, if see Lord Jagannath on Rath, his life become grateful and he will never born in the world once again. Rath Yatra (Car festival) is celebrated every year, on the second day of the bright fortnight in the Odishi month of asadh, which falls in June-July. It celebrates Lord Jagannath’s legendary return to his kingdom on earth. The Rath Yatra is a journey from dark to light and commemorates the journey of Krishna from Gokuldham to Mathura. During this time lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra are taken out in a grand procession in specially made gigantic temple-like chariots called raths, which are pulled by million of devotees. Every year in June-July, Lord Jagannath, with his elder brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra, goes on vacation, traveling on grand chariots, from his temple to mausi's home better know as Gundicha manidra (home of mother's sister). The festival begins with the Ratha Prathistha (invoking ceremony) in the morning. The Ratha Tana (chariot pulling) is the most exciting part of the festival, which begins in the late afternoon when the chariots of Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhdra start rolling. The Puri Rath Yatra is world famous and persons are attracted from all corners of the world. Puri being the abode of these three deities, the place plays host to devotees, tourists and about one million pilgrims from across India and abroad.

On a general account about 10,000 places in Odisha celebrate rath yatra, and we see the festival being celebrated all over India and abroad. The Puri rath yatra begins at 8 am but in rural area it is different. Generally the rural people are connected with farming works, so they return home late. They go for rath yatra with their family in the afternoon. The people in rural area wait for this festival eagerly months before. The age group between 1-3 years touches Jagannath rath and age group upto 15 years wear new dresses. In rural area, the rath pulling starts late afternoon and finishes late evening. People look happy, because at this time their preliminary farming works as kharif crops are also finished.
Baripada, the district headquarter of Odisha's Maurbhanj district and situated in northern Odisha, celebrates Rath Yatra with a different tradition. The festival is celebrated on next day of Puri Rath Yatra. Thousands of women pull Subhadra Rath. This tradition helps develop woman empowerment and community.

Rath Yatra is an ideal festival which establishes relationship between Lord Jagannath and devotees. It is a proper place, where the devotees present their thoughts in front of Lord Jagannath. According to social belief Lord Jagannath come out of his temple to his mausi Mandira, but his soul aims to meet his devotees. He gives message to us that when you are going out for a particular job, do additional jobs during your journey.

Poverty vs 64-year of independent India

Today the socio-economical conditions of India is very worst. We people of India and we are going to celebrate 63rd Independence Day on forth coming 15th August. Firstly I am interested to describe about the word Independent. The meaning of this word is free from control as a person or community. In early time the English people were controlled us over two-century, which is everybody know. We people got Independence on August 15th of 1947 after a great fight. The nation father Mahatma Gandhi, Netajee Subash Chandra Bose, Sardar Ballahabbhai Patel, Lal- Bal- Pal, and other indian freedom fighters. The nation father Gandhijee was saw dream of Ram Rajya. He was believed the nation will a ideal geographical land, but his dream is can not completed today.

Now the Maoists are going to controlled Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharastra, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Such like Naxal is a great menace for us. The country is not save everywhere. Everywhere human blood, if we read newspaper in the morning, to listen radio news and see the news channels. Further our state Chhattisgarh is making a proper place of Maoists. The state better know in nation for Maoist activities. Few month back, Maoist attack ever, at least 75 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and a state police personnel were killed in an ambush in the thick Mukrana forests of our state's Dantewada district. Suchlike last June 29, twenty six CRPF jawans have been killed and seven injured in what is being seen as another major Naxal attack in our state. All over India, there is no place where, the people leaved with happily.

Farmer suicide in India is a great sad news for us, if we remember to the sentence of former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri. Once he was speak Jay Jawan …..Jay Kishan. It means the Jawans are security of the nation, where we leave, an Kishan, better know farmer who are manufactures food grains. But the former Prime Minister word is going to value less. If this tradition will continue often and often, the situation will enter in to most danger condition. Even India is the second largest populate country in the world after China and also most popular for poverty. After 62 years of Independence people can not find food both lunch and dinner some places of our country. They are never understand what is Independence Day, they are never to know about the meaning of freedom, and just they are look Triranga Flag. In rural area India, the social, economical, educational condition is very worst, which I have no word to describe it.

Deep corruption across the Government sector has aggravated the problem. Most its example is Telecom Minister A Raja, who has been under attack over the auction of 2G spectrum, defended himself and dismissed the allegations of any wrongdoings. Speaking in Rajya Sabha, Raja said that there was complete transparency in the way 2G spectrum was allocated by the Union Telecom Ministry. The Opposition parties alleged that the government lost Rs 60,000 crores because of the way the 2G spectrum was allocated in 2008. "I have nothing to hide. Everything was fair and transparent", said A Raja. Raja hails from Congress ally DMK, which plays an important role in the survival of he government in Lok Sabha.

Till 1985 the politics of India was processed with good condition, later Indian politics enter scam day to day. Recently former Jharkhand’s Chief Minister Madhu Koda is the most example in Indian politics, which is now alleged by CBI for two thousands core scam. Except his, there are many example has been In Indian politics that many persons comes from poor or middle family and they make their selves honor of car, a large amount of bank balance, apartment, petrol pump, school, college deemed university, industry after few year later. Further Judicial system also very very wost according to Dainik Jagaran (Hindi daily of India)'s sorvey source.

Such like Madhuri Gupta, junior Indian Diplomat was arrested three months ago on allegations of spying for Pakistan. Gupta 53 was working in the Indian embassy in Islamabad prior to her arrest. It is difficult to get anything done by Government officials without grassing their or some agent's plans. Truly speaking, democracy in our country, which is likely to continue until the present day leaders and Government officials are replaced by honest and committed individuals.

According to a special investigation team, constituted as an alternate to special social audits of National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) works, has uncovered embezzlements worth Rs1.31 crore in a gram panchayat of Ajmer district. The irregularities involve NREGA works carried out at Malatoki Vair panchayat in the past year and a half, while the entire record of the panchayat is yet to studied. The state government has selected this panchayat besides 16 others, one each in different districts for special investigations? Interestingly, after the authorities identified the panchayat for conducting a special social audit several months ago, which the state government aborted midway, the district administration carried out a detailed probe which could point misappropriation of funds worth Rs57,000 only. Fudged job cards, bungling in development funds, fake signatures and payment, and more. Not only NREGA, further Natioanal Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Rajiv Gandhi Vidyut Yojana (RGVY), atc works also running with corruption. The politics stand in general election and they attract to the common people by their speeches that, if they come to power, the condition of society will most change, but when they reached to seat of Assembly, then started their business. Maximum cases they are make one types of class one contractor.

If the government provided Rs. 50,000 for a project, the project will finished with by 50 per cent cost, the balanced money enter in to the officers, politicians and contractor’s pockets. So now it has the time for build a good nation and choose a right candidate by own pool.

Till today, in India there are 50 millions children are uneducated, who are age group between 1-14 years. They have working at footpath, hotelboy, industries and some are also helped there parents jobs. They are never know about the value of education, if they have interested to go to school, their parents has no money to send themselves. So I am interested to talk about their lives, if the government take proper care of child labor, our future nation will make a greater India.

Finally I conclude my speak after telling a sentence. India is a funny country where lives 28 states along with seven Union Territory and also the country of India's food, cloth, home, religion, leaving style are different in geographically, till we proud and flay Tri colour national Flag. Jay Hind......
